- JULY 11 - SandwichFest - Jarves Street Street fair featuring Best Sandwich in Sandwich competition and a pet parade. 12 - 4 pm.
- 11 - Heritage Annual Auto Show - an all-inclusive auto event highlighting antique and classic automobiles as well as hotrods and custom cars. Free with Heritage Museums & Gardens Admission. 10 am - 2 pm.
- 11- Sandwich Artisans Outdoor Show, Sandwich Public Library Lawn. 10 am – 4 pm. All work is juried and items for sale include fine art, art prints, jewelry, florals, pottery, homemade jams, notecards, photographs and much more. All vendor fees donated to the library children’s programming.
- 11 - Military Appreciation Family Day - 11 am - 3 pm at the Cape Cod Children's Museum.
- 15 - Garden Tour to benefit the Green Briar Nature Center & Jam Kitchen. 11 am - 3 pm. Tickets $15 available at the Green Briar. 508-888-6870.
- 25 - Enchanted Evening - Elegant fundraising event to benefit Heritage Museums & Gardens.
- 27-29 - Circus Smirkus, New England's acclaimed, international traveling youth circus, presents "Smirkus Ever After: A Big Top Fairytale," a magical mix of treasured tales and fractured fables retold in center ring. Come see astounding aerials, clever clowning, and fabulous feats of contortion, juggling, acrobatics and more under our one-ring Big Top! 2 & 7 pm.

- 27– “Shop Sandwich” – November 27 through December 18. Visit participating businesses to enter in a raffle drawing for five $100 gift certificates. Get all your holiday shopping done without the hassle of the mall! Pick up a Holly Days Booklet at local businesses for a full calendar of events, open houses and retail promotions.
- 29– Lighting and reading of the Littlest Christmas Tree on Shawme Pond. 5:45 pm.
- DECEMBER 4, 5, 6 – North Pole Express – Advance ticket purchase required. North Pole Express train tickets may be purchased online at www.sandwichchamber.com beginning October 1, 2008 – Purchase Early! This event sells out quickly.
- 4 - Community Carol Sing - 7 pm on the steps of the First Church of Christ, followed by hot cider and cookies at the Dan'l Webster Inn and Spa. Rain/snow date December 6th.
