Obtaining a Marriage License:

Sandwich Town Clerk • 145 Main Street, Sandwich, MA 02563 • Office: 508-888-0340

1. Both individuals must appear together at the Sandwich Town Clerk’s Office to obtain a marriage license.

2. You must be eighteen years old or have a court order providing for an exception.

3. You are NOT required to present identification or get a blood test.

4. Massachusetts requires a mandatory three-day waiting period from the time the intention is filed before a license can be issued.

5. FEE: $25.00

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Locations and Permitting:
